Additional Services
THE
Bus
ADA Complimentary Service
ADA is the Americans with Disabilities Act. The
ADA transportation service allows residents to live more independently, take
control over their life, and participate fully and productively in our
community. The ADA transportation service complements the existing public
transportation service, THE
Bus. ADA services are for residents who
live within 3/4 mile on either side of the fixed route system, but are
unable to access the fixed route transit system due to a disability.
To utilize this service, ADA eligible riders will need to have a current ADA
Eligibility Photo Identification Card which shows eligibility, and will need
to be renewed every three (3) years.

Connector Service
The Connector Service is provided by
Trans-Hernando, the Para-Transit System, to promote and improve
access to the fixed route transit service, THE
Bus.
The Connector Service is for clients able to utilize transit, but who
simply live too far from the fixed route system to access the service (Over
3/4 of a mile from the fixed route service, THE
Bus).
