Trip Planning

You may need to take different routes to reach your destination. Take a moment to study all routes and determine the best route and time frame for your trip.

How to Read the Schedule
Locate the correct route(s) that serve the origin and destination of your trip. Turn to the individual route schedule(s) for your trip. Find the intersection identified as a timing point that is closest to your point of origin with the appropriate direction of travel.

Important: You may need to transfer from one route to another to reach your destination. Locate the appropriate information on all route schedules so you can coordinate your trip.

  • Please have the following information ready when you call:

    • Where will the trip start?

    • Where do you wish to go?

    • When do you need to arrive?

    • Will there be a return trip?

  • To receive printed schedules or maps

  • Look for the sign
Every bus stop has a bus stop sign posted. To find your closest stop, check your route schedule first. The bus stop signs are located every few blocks.

  • How to pay
Passengers should be prepared to pay exact cash fare (drivers do not carry cash), show a monthly pass, or present a token.

  • How to signal the operator you want to get off
As the vehicle nears your stop, signal the driver by pulling the cord located above all windows. This informs the driver you wish to get off at the next stop. If you aren't sure where to get off, ask the driver for assistance. Drivers are very conscientious and will do their best to help.

  • What to do while you're on the vehicle
Please take a seat if one is available. If all the seats are full, please move to the rear of the vehicle. You'll find poles to hold on to for greater stability. Hold small children securely. Please keep the first two rows of seating for seniors and the disabled.

  • Accessible transportation
All buses are equipped with ramps or wheelchair lifts to assist our passengers upon request.

  • Service animals
Trained service animals are welcome on all buses.

  • Take your bike
